The Hispanic Education Bureau in collaboration with the Literacy and Humanities Bureau invites you to the First-Annual Hispanic Education Act Student Conference 2025 First-Annual Hispanic Education Act Student Conference Wednesday May 14, 2025 Roswell Convention Center 08:00 am - 3:30 pm During the event, attendees will explore their Hispanic Identity through work sessions lead by students and teachers in the arts, music, and dance. This conference will highlight programs around the state that have a Folklorico Dance Group, Mariachi, Banda, and other music and dance program that relates to Hispanic Identity.
Students and educators will be empowered with strategies to enhance their Hispanic Identity programs at their schools utilizing the New Mexico Core Fine Arts Standards.This event will serve as a platform for all attendees to reconnect with their identity and make connections with other students and teachers around the state.
